When we hear the word push something common which appears into all of our mind is to apply a force on something.
Well, there are other meanings to it as well right?
Which is to force ourselves to make an effort / to have an external drive for which we take some action / having that internal drive which acts as a force to work upon something. To work upon something meaningful and even if it doesn't seem meaningful to the world, atleast it makes sense to ourselves.
Maybe not all but our biggest actions are backed by a push. The question which clicks is would we do anything if we didn't have that kick or push or that force to do it? Or, do we do anything which has nothing to do with our push but we ought to do it?
If we take a look back then not surprisingly but definitely we might find many things which we do, not because we want to but because we have to and that can be nothing related to the kick which drives inside us.
This is where we need to need to understand that, not all the things we think which would happen, would happen according to us. We live among people who we share our lives with, be it family or friends or colleagues. They as an individual have their own actions as well and therefore it is the actions of their push as well which have an impact on us and the same is true vice versa.
If noticed, we find happiness when things go as per us and if not happiness then we atleast get the satisfaction of it. But, what when things happen as per someone else, be it anyone you share the part of your life with? Is there that feeling of disappointment that eats us up? Or is it the anger for those times which bring in too much of negative energy in and around us?
There was a time when I was figuring things out and then I got to know this thing called as "Benefit of Doubt". You see, we expect people to give us the benefit of doubt but many a times we lack giving them when we are backed by our emotions of anger and disappointment. What do we do then?
Before reacting on to any situation, we should inculcate the habit of giving the other person the benefit of doubt. We all being humans act according to the push that drives us and there can be different results. But what keeps us together is the benefit of doubt we give to others because not everytime a person can be wrong and not everytime we can be right. It is this simple shift in mindset which makes us more of a human by accepting the situation and respecting the other person's mindset and actions as well.
So? What more?
Nothing, keep on working and taking actions according to the drive and let others do what they do along with giving them the benefit of doubt they deserve 😁
